Device compatibility
Check if your device supports eSIM.
Most smartphones released after 2018 support eSIM. Here's how to confirm your device is ready before purchasing.
Check on iPhone
- 1Open Settings
- 2Tap Cellular (or Mobile Data in some regions)
- 3Look for "Add eSIM" or "Add Data Plan". If the option appears, your iPhone supports eSIM.
Works on iPhone XS, XR and all newer models.
Check on Android
- 1Open Settings
- 2Navigate to Network & Internet → SIM cards
- 3Look for "Download a SIM instead?" or "Add eSIM". The exact path varies by manufacturer.
Confirmed on Samsung Galaxy S20+, Google Pixel 3+, and similar flagships.
Your device must meet all three requirements
All three must be true before purchasing a Click Mobile eSIM plan.
- eSIM-capable hardware— the device has an embedded eSIM chip
- Not carrier-locked— contact your carrier to unlock if needed (usually free after contract end)
- iOS 13+ or Android 10+— older OS versions do not support eSIM provisioning
Note: Jailbroken iOS or rooted Android devices may not support eSIM installation. Standard system APIs required for provisioning are often blocked on modified firmware.
