Device compatibility

Check if your device supports eSIM.

Most smartphones released after 2018 support eSIM. Here's how to confirm your device is ready before purchasing.

Check on iPhone

  1. 1Open Settings
  2. 2Tap Cellular (or Mobile Data in some regions)
  3. 3Look for "Add eSIM" or "Add Data Plan". If the option appears, your iPhone supports eSIM.
Works on iPhone XS, XR and all newer models.

Check on Android

  1. 1Open Settings
  2. 2Navigate to Network & Internet → SIM cards
  3. 3Look for "Download a SIM instead?" or "Add eSIM". The exact path varies by manufacturer.
Confirmed on Samsung Galaxy S20+, Google Pixel 3+, and similar flagships.

Your device must meet all three requirements

All three must be true before purchasing a Click Mobile eSIM plan.

  • eSIM-capable hardware— the device has an embedded eSIM chip
  • Not carrier-locked— contact your carrier to unlock if needed (usually free after contract end)
  • iOS 13+ or Android 10+— older OS versions do not support eSIM provisioning

Note: Jailbroken iOS or rooted Android devices may not support eSIM installation. Standard system APIs required for provisioning are often blocked on modified firmware.
